Telehealth Therapy for Individuals

There are pros and cons to telehealth therapy.  It makes it more accessible, as you are able to eliminate the travel time.  But some of the cons are:

• technical issues  can affect therapy
• it can take longer to build rapport with your therapist
• It can be hard to eliminate distractions

• Clients who are located in Pennsylvania during the session.
• Individuals that are 12 years old and up - children younger than 12 tend to benefit more from in-person sessions. 
• Those who are able to secure a private place for sessions that are free from distractions. 
• Those with conditions whose treatment tends to focus on coping skills and pattern disruption. (My experience has been that trauma work can only go so far through telehealth).

• Individuals who are ready to make a long term commitment to therapy.

• Cash pay - $100
• No-Shows or late cancellations are $50.  A No-show is if you are not available withing 15 minutes of the appointment beginning.  A late cancellation is when you cancel with less than 24 hours notice.
