Those working towards Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
What you need before starting supervision:
- Graduate with a Master’s degree from an accredited program https://www.cswe.org/accreditation/about/directory/?
- Pass the ASWB Master’s Level Examination
- Have not committed a felony, or met the expectations under Title 49, chapter 47, section 47.12.2
- I require that supervisees pass a background check - https://epatch.pa.gov/home
- Obtained your Licensed Social Worker license by applying on PALS website
- Complete the child abuse training
- Proof of malpractice insurance, it is a good idea to have your own policy.
What I can provide:
- Assistance through the initial licensing process, unfortunately until you get your LSW you will not be able to count the hours, but I can provide assistance in getting to that point, if the list above feels overwhelming.
- Supervision of 3,000 hours by offering individual and group supervision.
- You will need 1 hour of individual ($150) and 1 hour of group ($50) for every 40 hours you work.
- A tracking sheet to help you keep track of your hours
- Years of experience, including years of experience as a supervisor.
- Handouts
- In accordance with the licensing board’s expectation
- We will review a session quarterly, either in person or by video
- I will provide you with evaluations of your progress and suggestions for ways to support your career.
